Roller coaster weather continues, the past week anywhere from 50 degrees to breaking a record on Wednesday in the mid 80’s. Then rain started Saturday night and has been turning cooler since then. This Monday morning we started out with 28 degrees, but supposed to reach 40 today. Never know what to wear from one day to the next.
Ben and Jill Rose, Claire and Lila of Brussels and Steve and Erin Carnes, Emmet, Halle and Lainey and Willie and Renee Rose, Charlotte, Anderson and Emme, all of Golden Eagle, enjoyed spending time recently at the Great Wolf Lodge in Chicago. This lodge is famous for its indoor water park which everyone thoroughly enjoyed. In addition to this their stay included games, mini golf, the arcade and MagiQuest. It certainly sounded like a most enjoyable and wonderful time together.

They still have Girl Scout cookies to sell so give them or their leaders a call if you would like to purchase some.

My prayer this week is for Peace.
Dear Lord, We pray for the power to be gentle and forgiving; the patience to be understanding and the endurance to accept the consequences of holding on to what we believe to be right. May we put our trust in the power of love to overcome evil and hatred. We pray for peace amid the chaos in Ukraine. As they face trials that are beyond our understanding, help them to find peace. We pray for all those affected by the hostility of war, blood being shed and lives being shattered. Let peace fill our hearts, our world and our universe.
In Jesus name, Amen.
