“That’s a wrap.” Another great weekend of performances by the Calhoun Entertainment Company. The 2022 Spring Musical “The Little Mermaid” wowed the sold out crowd again this weekend. So much talent, a huge thank you to Jerry Sievers for all of his work that goes into this. It was entertaining for all ages. There were also lots of little fans dressed as Ariel, the little mermaid, who loved getting their pictures afterwards with the cast members. Thank you to the Landing for staying open late and serving the cast and crew after the performances. The beautiful cakes on Sunday were delicious. You always go above and beyond.
The winner of the Little Mermaid Basket, donated by the Landing with all proceeds going to CEC, was Maybree Klaas.
We were thrilled that this year the entertainment company was able to come back to Kampsville. We love having them here. Thank you to the Center for American Archeology for the use of the gym. Thank you also to the Kampsville Legion for also making sure that the cast and crew were well taken care of and sharing your parking lot and bathrooms.
It’s always a favorite time of the year when Calhoun Entertainment Company comes to Kampsville.
The Kampsville Legion is still searching for their Queen. Get your tickets.
The Village Easter display just keeps getting cuter! Make sure you check out the Kampsville Peeps with all of our many Volunteers, Board members and Mayor on them.

I’m so deeply saddened to report this week that Jim Hill passed away. Such a sweet guy. He was a true “Warriors” fan. In fact his family and friends called him Mr. Warrior. Please keep his kids Steve and Liz and his grandchildren in your prayers. Continued prayers also for Elmer Lehr, Darren Kress, Zel Blumenberg, Joe Gress, Raymond Sievers, Isabel McGlaughin, Kurt Roth, Jerry Crader, Kathryn Chapman, Bob Banghart, Bruce Williams, Justin Williams, Amy Roth, Joyce Blumenberg, Eileen Gardner, Shelly Pohlman and Linda Herkert.
