My visitors and workers on Sunday were John and Caleb Carnes of Edwardsville. Now that “spring has sprung” there is so much outdoor work to do. I did feed them a nice lunch and dinner in appreciation for all their hard work. Thanks also to John for grilling the steaks for our evening meal.

PRAYER FOR SPRING:
God, thank you for spring and the warmer, longer and brighter days. Thank you for the growth of grass and flowers and the budding leaves on the trees. To all these changes we ask the gift of You beckoning us to hope and rebirth. May the sunlight and the rain be reminders that You are at work renewing the earth. As a God of renewal, You are ever at work in our lives too. Open our eyes and lives to the needed changes this spring and awaken us to new life. We pray in Jesus’ name.
Amen
