Big Easter News in Kampsville!
This Thursday, April 14, from 5-7 p.m. Kampsville will be hosting its very first Easter Eggstravaganza at the Kampsville Campground Stage. Stop by anytime for crafts, cookie decorating, games and a Scavenger Hunt thru town. Then on Saturday, beginning at 2 p.m., a wonderful Kampsville Tradition the St. John’s Easter Egg Hunt at the church. Egg hunt, refreshments, door prizes, fun and fellowship. Thank you Marcia Agney, James and Mayor Wade for your generous donation to the egg hunt.
Wow, this past Saturday, Kampsville was the place to be. The Bret Sprong Benefit was amazing and drew a wonderful crowd. The silent auction was also amazing. The Pavilion did a great job on the food. It was delicious. This sort of thing is just one of the many reasons I love living in Calhoun. The Sprong family would like to say thank you to all who showed their support in any way.
The winner of the Super x4 Gun was Jacob Witt and the winner of the Ruger handgun was Terry Churchman Jr.
Kampsville native, Colleen Schumann, spent this past week in Daytona, Florida competing in the National College Cheerleading Competition. Schumann is a cheerleader at Maryville University.
The Calhoun Pre-K students enjoyed a field trip to the Calhoun High School Greenhouse. The kids got to plant their own plants. It won’t be long now and the FFA will have their spring plant sale.
Calhoun Warriors basketball will be hosting a Jr. Warriors Basketball Camp June 20-22.
Thank you to all who helped clean the Village Campground Stage on Sunday.
Please continue prayers for Bruce Williams, Justin Williams, Amy Roth, Joyce Blumenberg, Darren Kress, Zel Blumenberg, Joe Gress, Raymond Sievers, Isabel McGlaughin, Kurt Roth, Jerry Crader, Kathryn Chapman, Bob Banghart, Eileen Gardner, Linda Herkert, Rachelle Hillen and Shelly Pohlman.
