The Pork Chop Supper is coming up on Saturday, June 4 at Manchester Park. The menu includes: pork chops or pork burger, potato salad, cole slaw, baked beans, pie or cake and a drink. All proceeds go to Manchester Cemetery,
A Queen of Hearts drawing is every Monday night at 7 p.m. at the Grand Slam Bar and Grill in Alsey. The drawings are sponsored by Mandy’s Dog Rescue.
Another Queen of Hearts drawing is every Thursday night at 7 p.m. at the Rose’s Cantina in Alsey on Main Street. The drawings are sponsored by the Scott County EMS.
Sonie Smith and Peggy Clemons enjoyed lunch at the Grand Slam on Tuesday.
