Hello from Alsey. The weather is crazy. The mushrooms are gone and the hummingbirds are back. I really enjoy watching them.

The Queen of Hearts Drawing at Rose’s Cantina on Main Street in Alsey runs every Thursday night at 7 p.m., where proceeds go to Scott County EMS. See you there!
Gals from Winchester High School Class of 1959 met and enjoyed lunch at the Grand Slam Bar and Grill on wednesday May 18. Present at the lunch were: Sonie Smith, Peggy Clemons, Judy Whitehurst, Betty Jefferson and Georgie Wilson. All enjoyed lunch and a catch up on gossip.
Barrow Church Ladies Luncheon is held each month on the third Tuesday of the month. The June luncheon will be on June 21 at 12 p.m. noon. All ladies are welcome.
