Congratulate a graduate this week
Welcome to June. May your month be full of sunshine and good times, it could be a trip to your dream destination near or far but may be a skip, hop and a jump to your favorite fishing or swimming hole too. Whatever it may be, I hope you make some fun memories along the way.
This is a big week for PHHS. The 2022 high school graduation will take place this Friday at 7 p.m. in the gymnasium. Also eighth grade promotion will take place Thursday at 7 p.m. It is always an exciting time for our youth and their parents as these fine young adults make their way to fulfilling their dreams and ambitions after all these years and finally making it to the top. Congratulations to all of our local graduates and may your hopes and wishes come true!
Pleasant Hill will be having clean up days accepting large bulky items this Saturday and Sunday down at fairgrounds from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day. There are few items not accepted and must be resident of the town of Pleasant Hill.
There will be a catfish tournament at Two Rivers Marina this Saturday. Participants must be there by 6 a.m. for a meeting. There is more information on the Marina’s facebook page and also may call the marina at (217)437-2321.
