Congrats to several in the area
Congratulations to all the local graduates who graduated last week
Dewayne and Nadine Kessinger, Amy Slight and Shelia Slight all enjoyed a cookout at the home of Allison Kessinger and Ryan and Hudson Cooley on Memorial Day.
Congratulations to Tate Kunzeman who was selected to play in the 2022 Illinois v. Missouri Muddy River Showcase basketball game. The game will be played Saturday, June 18 at 5 p.m. at John Wood Community College.
Cathy McDaniel is one very proud grandma, and rightfully so! On May 8, Cathy attended the graduation of her grandson, Jake Kirgan, who graduated Cum Laude from SIU Carbondale. On May 24, she attended the pre-k graduation of her granddaughter, Scarlett Kirgan at Pleasant Hill. On May 26, she attended the graduation of her granddaughter, Mayleigh Perry, from Brown County grade school. On May 27, she attended the graduation of her grandson, Marcus Perry, from Brown County High School!
Our sympathy is extended to the family of Mary Etta Fox, who passed away Saturday at Illini Hospital. Having worked at Illini Hospital for many years, and for Pike County Health Department after retiring from Illini Hospital, Mary Etta was very well known in our area. She was such a loving and caring person to anyone she met, and will be missed very much.
