Don’t forget today is More Good Today Day
What a nice day and perfect season to show this. More Good Today Day is a special holiday celebrated Dec.14 every year in the U.S. The holiday aims to encourage more people to practice kindness and generosity. It reminds people to take the time to think about the people around them and help in any way they can. This day reminds people to focus on the positive things in the world. This holiday is the perfect opportunity to make a difference in someone’s life. A small act of kindness can go a long way in making people’s lives happier.
Nebo Community Club will be having their annual Cookies with Santa Saturday, Dec. 17 starting at 2 p.m., Santa will arrive in style so be sure to get there early! This will be followed by the Dog House Christmas Giveaway for everyone from newborns to 18 years old.
The food pantry at Pleasant Hill Christian Church will hand out food baskets this coming Saturday from 9-11a.m. If you also would like to leave donations, whether food or monetary, you may drop them off at Bank of Kampsville in town.
Pleasant Hill Community Club will be delivering Christmas Candy to the elderly and shut-ins again this year. If you have someone you would like to see on our list, please private message a member or may send message on Facebook page with name and address. This will be limited to the Pleasant Hill area.
