Starting Wednesday Jan. 11 the Bright Star Parish is continuing a Bible Study on the Gospel of Mark. The study will start with chapter 11, at the Griggsville United Methodist Church and will start at 7 p.m. Wednesdays and can be attended in person or by Zoom. Christmas day guests of Shirley Stinson were brother and sister in law, Larry and Shirley Bauch of Perry, son and daughter-in-law, Corey and Karen Stinson of Winfield, Mo. and daughter, son-in-law, and grandchildren, Holly, Justin, Sadie, Abe, Hope, and Boaz Smith of San Antonio, Texas. The Smiths were able to spend a week visiting Shirley.
Friday, Dec. 30, the Pittsfield High School class of 1973 enjoyed their once-a-month class luncheon at Teddy’s in Griggsville with 17 in attendance. Those who made it were: Cathy Bollegar; Andy Borrowman; Patty and Tom Cawthon; Wyvetta Davis; Becky Ghrist; Debbie Harshman; Jeannie Hartman; Bruce and Barb McKee; Janet and Greg McKee; Marvin Reel; Theresa Reel; Dennis Wade; and Joe Womble and Mary. Several of our “usuals” weren’t able to be there so hopefully they can make it to the next one. Always a good time of visiting and sharing a meal.
