Plenty of opportunities to eat and help a great cause this weekend
A former wise man once said, “A free people ought not only be armed and disciplined, but they should have sufficient arms and ammunition to maintain a status of independence from any who might attempt to abuse them, which would include their own government.” Mr. George Washington(Birthday is today)
Spring Creek Fire Department will be having their annual pancake and sausage supper this Saturday, starting at 4 p.m. at firehouse and continue until sold out. Delivery will be available to local folks and to go orders will be available, too. The money will be used to update equipment. Sure hope you can get out to support this wonderful group of volunteers who serve not only Nebo area but all surrounding communities.
The American Legion will be having fish dinner this coming Sunday 11-1. Maybe try to get there, too, to support these fine bunch of veterans, their spouses and volunteers.
In conjunction with FFA Week there will be an FFA Alumni Night Bingo will take place this Saturday night at 7 p.m. in the high school main gym. $20 single packet, $30 double packet. Refreshments will be available. Doors open at 6 p.m. There will be some nice prizes from Dresden & co and Longaberger. Be sure to get this on your calendar!
It is with deep sympathy to her husband Bob and the family of Judy Buchanan Gauld. She was such a dear, sweet soul who always had an open door at their home for us kids when we were growing up! May you know you are all in our thoughts and prayers.
Hope you all have a wonderful week ahead for it is the last week of February and time is moving right along. Enjoy your days as they are quite precious!
