This weather is crazy, but, in the blink of an eye, it will be summer and we will be ready to head to the pool with the little ones. The Calhoun Community Swimming Pool is still struggling to get everything running, but we have a great group of go getter people who will make this happen. Also, thanks to the generosity of others, it will hopefully progress. The family of Ida Capps gave a wonderful memorial donation to the Calhoun Swimming Pool. A very fitting memorial for a very giving lady. Thank you Michelle, Matt and Jarod. Our community is grateful. When the pool is up and running there will be a Free Swim Day in honor of Ida.
