Tried out the Pearl Diner one day last week for lunch. Great friendly service and good food. Folks, it’s worth the effort to drive to Pearl to do this. Their hours for right now are: Sunday and Monday – closed; Tuesday thru Thursday 6 a.m. to 3 p.m.; Friday 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.; and I believe Saturday is 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. They have a breakfast buffet that sounds delicious. Real soon they will be having live music entertainment featuring The Buggs Family down the road at what was the Church of Christ Church.
Another monthly class luncheon was held for the Pittsfield High School Class of 1973 Friday, Feb. 24, at Gianni’s in Pittsfield. Ginger Whitlock and Wyvetta Davis attended the First Baptist Church in Mt. Sterling Sunday, Feb. 26. They went especially to hear Jerry Edison give the message. (Jerry had given the message at both Ginger’s husband and father’s funerals.) Both Ginger and Wyvetta could not believe how extremely friendly this congregation was and how welcoming. After the service, they went to Renee’s for a delicious lunch.
