The PHS Class of 1973 had a successful 50th class reunion over the weekend of July 7th. A casual get together at the Old Orchard Country Club that Friday night was very well attended with lots of delicious foods and plenty of visiting to enjoy. (This get together was my favorite event of all.) Saturday found a few classmates back out to the Old Orchard Country Club to play golf. That afternoon several of us met at the Pike County All Wars Museum, the East School, and the Pike County Heritage Museum. (I wish I had recorded the extremely interesting talk that Bob Norris did at the Pike County All Wars Museum.) Then that evening was the official Reunion at the Pittsfield American Legion complete with a delicious catered meal by Paul and the Courtyard staff and a group picture of all the classmates who attended done professionally by Victor Westfall. Messages by some of the absent classmates were read by Andy Borrowman plus he also told how successful the monthly class luncheons have been. Nancy Bloom gave a list of all of our deceased classmates and an updated flower fund report. Theresa Sidwell shared information about the All Wars Museum and how interesting our tour was. And a short discussion about having the next reunion was in open discussion.
