Jeepers cancel Legion bingo this week
The Pike County Senior Citizens Center at 220 West Adams Street in Pittsfield will be holding a fundraiser Fish Fry this Thursday, Aug. 10. 4:30-6 p.m. The menu will be your choice of catfish fillet or buffalo with 3 set sides and dessert. Eat in or carry out. All ages are welcome. Thank you for your continued support. Questions? Please call 217-285-4969.
Due to the Jeepers being in Pike County this coming weekend, there will not be any bingo at the Pittsfield American Legion this Friday, Aug. 11th.
Saturday, Aug. 12, the Western Illinois Tractor Club will be joining others at the Dale Lair Tractor Drive starting at 8:30 at the Literberry Church. Bring your lunch. Any questions call Dale.

Michelle Winner and Colby Smith, both of Van Buren, Am have been visiting in the area. Thursday, Aug. 3, they called on Michelle’s uncle Fred Englemann of Baylis and her aunt Ginger Whitlock of New Salem. Then Friday, they visited with her sister, Brandi McGuire.
Friday afternoon, Aug. 4 Darold Garner of Hannibal stopped by to visit his cousin, Wyvetta Davis.
