I think everyone can agree it was a great week to be a Warrior. Calhoun Volleyball girls won Regionals and will now move on to sectionals. Warrior Football traveled to Heyworth to battle the Hornets winning 42-14. They will face Camp Point in round two on Saturday at Calhoun High School.
St. Anslems Turkey Bingo is this Saturday at St. Anslems Hall. Doors open at 5 p.m. games begin at 6 p.m. Always a fun time.
Kampsville American Legion Post 1083 will be hosting a short program Saturday, Nov. 11, at 11 a.m., with Auxiliary Unit 1083 hosting a luncheon at noon. All Veterans and their families are welcomed to attend.
The Sons of the American Legion are currently raffling Meat Gift Certificates for Hansens Packing, first prize is $500, second $200, third $100 and fourth is a $50 gift certificate. Tickets can be bought from any Sons of the Legion member.
Sympathy to the family of Edna Roth who passed away this past week. Edna was an absolute sweetheart of a lady. Please keep her family in your prayers and continued prayers for
