A bit of reflection before the New Year
As we sit here we reflect on this past year or years as they seem to pass by so quickly! And how we think we have the promise of tomorrow and in hopes that we do! We just finished with one of the most special times of the year as our hearts share and give more than the rest of the year it seems. Sure hoping your past year was a blessing more than hardships and heartache for you. As you start your new year, maybe you will be the one that will make a resolution that will stick for a month or two or perhaps maybe even better yet, a quality resolution to be a life change or be the better good; like being that angel to someone in need, settling needless quarrels that are long overdue, seeking out those who are less fortunate, maybe even going to just visit a little more-remember folks these things may be old fashioned but this is way of life we should live and seek everyday! And so often it just takes little effort, be yourself, give of yourself, live like today is your last! May your heart stay humble and grateful for we are in so many ways fortunate! Wishing you so many blessings and prosperity in this new year! 2024!! Can you quite believe it!
Deepest sympathy to the family of Kenny Wombles, what a great man who lived a full life of 97 years and a dear Veteran also! May he rest in peace.
