Hunter safety class in Nebo March 8 and 9
Can you quite believe it’s time to Spring Forward this weekend, those clocks will go ahead 1 hour and now longer daylight in the evening. Yeah!
The 30th Annual Showcase production will take place this Thursday, Friday, and Saturday at the P-Hill high school. The show will start at 7 p.m. each night, cost is $8 for adults, $5 for students. Senior Citizen get in for $5 Thursday night only. These high school students show so much talent and sure don’t want to miss this.
There will be a Hunter’s Safety Course at the Nebo Community Club, 105 S Carroll Street Friday, March 8 from 6 to 9 p.m. and Saturday, March 9 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. If you would like a place in it please contact Dean Spann at [email protected] or at 217-491-2436.
Crescent Heights Cemetery clean up is planned for Friday, March 15 so be sure to get your flowers, etc removed by then. The committee I’m certain would appreciate any help, this would be great community service to help keep our cemetery looking nice.
Happy First Birthday to my precious grandson, Johnny Ray Hill (J.R.) Friday, March 8! You are such a ray of sunshine to us little sweetheart.
“Winds of March we welcome you, there is work for you to do. Work and play and blow all day, blow the Winter cold away.”
