Douglas Cemetery seeking donations for mowing
The Douglas Cemetery is seeking donations to help cover the cost of yearly mowing and the restoration of headstones. Donations can be mailed to: Douglas Cemetery, P.O. Box 76, Milton, 62352.
Please plan to attend the Milton Military Mustangs ceremony Sept. 28 on the Milton Square to dedicate a monument and information board honoring the 122 men and women from Milton High School who served in the USA Armed Forces during World War II. All of these Mustangs, from Allen to Yelliott, with a couple of McCanns and Moores in the middle, saw action in the far corners of the globe during that period of 1940 – 1945.
