Sign-ups in full force for the town wide yard sales
Happy Wednesday! Many morels have been poppin’ up, great year for them it seems.
Sorry I’ve missed getting the article out for a couple of weeks, left for a little vacation time. All relaxed for a minute but duty calls as we all know and back to the old grind!
Pleasant Hill FFA will again be having their flower sale this Saturday from 8-11 AM. Just flowers, vegetables are not ready! $5 for 6 inch pots and $20 for hanging baskets. Get on down to their green house at high school and help support our youth.
Pleasant Hill Community Club will be having a pancake and sausage supper Friday, May 3 at the community club! It will be from 5 p.m. until we are sold out. This event is a free will donation. Also they are going to try something a little different this year for fundraising. Instead of trying to sell an item/raffle, we have decided to do a donation drive. Monetary donations can be dropped off to Beth Burdick at the Bank of Kampsville in Pleasant Hill or you will also see flyer around or on Facebook to do a Venmo donation. Any and all help would be very much appreciated as this club does do so much for our little community.
The annual town wide yard sale will be here again real soon, May 17-19. Sign ups are happening now! There are flyers on Pleasant Hill Comm club Facebook page and also the registration forms you can download. Deadline to sign up is May 15 to be in the yard sale listing. There will be also be forms at the village office. The funds will go to the Pleasant Hill Community club. Also on this day, down at the 4 way the Pleasant Hill 4th of July committee will be selling the famous Main Street Bakery donuts and all those proceeds will go to the fireworks.
