The Calhoun Unit 40 Jr. High and High School Band Concert was held Sunday afternoon and it was absolutely amazing. From the talent of all of the musicians to both the band directors from junior high and high school. Scotty Browning kept the laughs coming as he entertained as well as led. It was very easy to see why the students have such a great time in band. The Calhoun school board is currently looking for someone with the correct qualifications to fill the position for Band Director. There is so much talent and there are some that will never find their talent if we don’t offer them the chance in our schools so let’s hope someone will come and teach and keep music and band in our school.
Happy 64 Anniversary Jim and Connie Weineke on April 23.
