I hope everyone had a great Mothers Day. It was a beautiful weekend.
Kampsville Kreamery treated all Moms to a free scoop of ice cream. I had the lemon cheesecake ice cream and it was delicious.
An added bonus for everyone’s weekend was the appearance of The Northern Lights. They were beautiful to see in town but even more stunning at Summit Grove.
Congratulations to Claire Stein who graduated from Blackburn University this past weekend. Claire is the daughter of Nikki Stein and Danny Stein and the granddaughter of Rach and Nancy Lippencott and Sharon Stein and great-granddaughter of Maurice Lammy.
The Fenders & Flowers Expo was held Saturday on the Hardin Riverfront. There was a good crowd enjoying the vendors. I ran into Zel Blumenberg who is home from Texas visiting.
Dick’s Riverside is Raffling a 36” BlackStone Griddle with hood and extendable shelf. You may enter once daily with purchase (excluding soda and water) drawing will be Thursday, July 4, at 5 p.m.
Don’t forget to also get those Queen of Hearts tickets, we are on the search.
We have some fun events coming up in Kampsville so mark your calendars.
The Mountain Archery Festival will be May 17-19 at McCully Heritage Project.
Sunday, May 26, an Arrowhead Making Workshop will be hosted by the Center of American Archeology, call 618-653-4316 for more information.
St. Anslem’s Game Night is Saturday, June 1, at St. Anslem’s Hall to help fund the Steubenville youth conference. Doors open at 5 p.m.
The Calhoun Entertainment Company will be holding their Jamboree Sunday, June 23, at 2 p.m. at St. Anslems Hall. No advance reservations are required and you can pay at the door.
