Pike Senior Citizens fish fry tonight
“If you continue to carry the bricks from your past, you will end up building the same building.”
The Pike County Senior Citizens Center at 220 West Adams Street in Pittsfield will be holding a fundraiser Fish Fry this Thursday, Aug.8, from 4:30-6 p.m. The menu will be your choice of catfish fillet or buffalo with 3 set sides which will include this month potato salad, macaroni salad and cherry salad plus your choice of dessert. Eat in or carry out. All ages are welcome. Your continued support is appreciated. Questions? Please call 217-285-4969. They also have gift certificates available for any amount.
The Dolbeare Reunion is this Sunday, Aug. 11, at the home of Ron and Amy Hoskin and family which is south of El Dara and also south of the Taylor Martin Cemetary. This will be at 12:30 p.m.. Since this is a potluck, please bring a dish to pass. Also please bring lawn chairs. All relatives are invited so please come out to get together with your family.
