Wolf on hill on Quincy Street cleaned up and ready to howl
Are you ready for the Full Moon, right in line with Fall Pickens, it will be in full swing this weekend with so many goings on in the towns all around the county! There will be many crafts, food vendors and yard sales and also be sure to hit up local businesses along the way too. It is hard to tell what or who you might find along the way!
The Martinsburg Market will have their fresh made donuts Saturday morning!
Volley for Hope, an annual event, will take place this coming Thursday at PHHS gym at 6pm during the Lady Wolves game against Brown County. This year’s recipients are Hanna Palmer and Kevin McDonald! The committee is accepting donations for this event: baskets, prizes, monetary donations, etc. to help raise money for Hannah and Kevin. Please contact Janessa Damon (217)248-4012 or Beth Burdick (217)491-4177 for more information.
Pleasant Hill Wolf Pack PTO will be hosting the annual Halloween Carnival this Saturday starting at 5 p.m. with the soup supper then costume judging starting at 5:30 p.m. and the games to follow until 8 p.m! Be sure to bring your little ones to enjoy the fun filled, spooktacular evening! Also they are accepting donations for the cake walk, just drop off at the high school before the festivities.
It was brought to my attention~If you will notice, the wolf statue on top of the hill above Squier Insurance, has been cleaned up and now you see a flag pole and spotlight placed by Dennis Wieneke. He deserves a big thank you for making this stand out for our town.
