News from Barrow Baptist Church and Pastor Mancel Day. Our service times are 9:30 a.m. Sunday school, followed by 10:30 a.m. morning worship. Everyone is welcome to either or both services and we are handicap accessible.
On Sunday, Dec. 8, we had 19 attending Sunday school and 24 attending morning worship.
Remember our men and women in uniform and the leaders of our nation in your prayers. There are no birthdays or anniversaries to report this week.
Our Barrow family Christmas will be this Friday night at 6 p.m. in the fellowship hall. A good time of food, fun and games will be had by all.
Dec. 15, we will be sharing Christmas carols at White Hall Nursing and Rehab at 2 p.m. We’ve heard a special visitor is going to come and read the Christmas story to the residents during this time.
If you don’t have any plans for Christmas Eve early, at 5 p.m. we have a candlelight service that only lasts 30 to 45 minutes. You are more than welcome to come and join us.
A New Year’s Eve party is also in the works beginning at 7 p.m.
