Prom at PHHS this Saturday, March 29
It is once again the time for PHHS high school prom this Saturday evening. So nice to see them all decked out for the night! What a wonderful time in these young kids’ lives. Hope they have a fun, memorable and safe time!
Well, I’m so happy to give a shout out to David and Mary Kay Benz, they have survived 45 years of wedded bliss this Saturday, March 29! Definitely something to celebrate and sure hope you two wonderful folks have many more to enjoy!
Ag Trivia Night is coming right up this Saturday at Bowlers Universe in Pittsfield, hosted by Pleasant Hill 4-H Citizens club to help improve the livestock barns and shows for the 4-H kids. $160 for a team and the games begin at 7pm. Get you a team of 8, bring some snacks, there will be cash bar available, so come have some fun while supporting our youth! National Farmworker Awareness Week and wow, so thankful for our Ag families and community right here in little piece of Heaven~Rural America! God Bless the Farmer!
The Pike County fair is currently seeking donors/sponsors/volunteers for the fair June 3-7. The minimum donor is $100 and sponsor up to $2500. The board is doing a fantastic job at trying to bring back our fair and your contribution would be so appreciated. Also looking for volunteers any night of the fair. American Legion will have their chicken dinner this coming Sunday from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Be sure to stop on down if you’re able to help support them.
A reminder that Miller Cemetery in Atlas will be cleaning this Saturday so be sure to get your flowers, etc picked up if you want to keep them.
