I hope everyone had a great Easter. I had a house full and that’s just how I love it. The adults enjoyed the egg hunt as much the kids.
The St. John’s Easter Egg Hunt was a success. Lots of eggs were found. Lots of prizes were given and everyone had a great time. Thank you to Pastor Steve for sharing the message of Easter with all those who came. Thank you to all who donated and thank you to my granddaughter Reagan for helping me during the event and especially my grandson who helped set up all the tables and chairs and helped me hide over 600 eggs. A great time was had by all.
Via Facebook I held the Annual “Cuma Swan Bunny Cake Challenge” 28 cakes were baked and decorated and shared in memory of my Mom. When I was a kid, she clipped the recipe tutorial from the parade magazine and the sundae paper and every year she made a bunny cake after my mom passed. I continued to make the cake as did some of my nieces. It kind of became a contest with us during Covid. I put it on Facebook and asked everyone to get involved and since then it’s been an annual thing. My sisters and I are overwhelmed and thankful for all who participated. We can’t think of a better way to honor our mom.
