The Inaugural Rick Smith Demo Derby was a success and a great time was had by all, the 80’s Band Big Guns was enjoyed by all.
The “Mozier Mafia “ Demo crew started the Demo season strong coming home with two first place and two second place wins.

Thank you to Frankie Witt and Dave Bick. They painted new lines on the basketball court and four square at Calhoun Junior Highway. How wonderful it is to have dad to jump right in and help with things that need to be fixed at school. Don’t forget the PTO has their can drive going on the dumpster is behind the school and you just put your cans in there. The PTO helps fund things that are not covered such as school trips, etc. it is a very worthwhile organization so please help out the cause.
Update on my buddy Finn Smith. Finn had his surgery and his pacemaker put in and all is working well. As I write this his pain is getting better and he is on his way home . Please continue prayers. Mrs. Hickson’s 5th grade class sent him off in style the day before he went for his surgery.
Calhoun has lost a bright light with the most amazing smile. Lisa Watters passed away with her family by her side after a courageous battle with cancer. Lisa was kind hearted and brought a smile to everyone. She enjoyed time spent with Randy running the fish market and mostly they enjoyed watching their talented daughter Lindsey as she performed with the Crypt Kickers and the Calhoun Entertainment Company. Lisa enjoyed time spent with her sisters, nieces , nephews and friends. She will be missed by many.
Please keep Randy, Lindsey, Cheryl, Sandi, Betty and Carol and all her friends and family in your prayers and continue prayers for Tom Rother, Finn Smith, Billie Jo Eickmeyer, Kiera Sievers, Isabel McGlaughin, Kurt Roth, Joe Gress, Sue Aderton, Diane Rose, Connor Gilman and Kathryn Chapman.
