Good day to all! It’s been a little bitter but then we’re gonna have another warm spell. I guess we’ll enjoy the roller coaster ride of weather for a spell!!

As of this writing, we in Pike County Illinois are experiencing a taste of winter with cold temperatures and cold breezes. (At least this gets rid of the asian beetles.)

Big congratulations go out to GPHS alum, Colby Tate and Jack Shoemaker, on receiving their American FFA Degrees! These gentlemen were recently recognized at the National FFA Convention in Indianapolis, Ind. for all of the hard work and dedication that it takes to earn this degree. Last week on and off light showers and now a quick change to temperatures in the mid 50’s. Low here in my area was 35 degrees on Sunday morning. Meteorologists say back up to 70 by mid-week, and that sounds good to me.

Once again, it’s always a great week to be a Warrior! Warrior volleyball won the regional championship against Carrollton Thursday night. They will advance to sectional play this week.
