Pleasant Hill looking for a busy weekend
Well we’ve made it another week you can sure see daylight hours are becoming shorter but also the grass is staying shorter too, if you are getting tired of all that mowing that’s a plus.
Congratulations to two local farm families for 100 year centennial recognition, Don Chamberlain and heirs near Nebo and late Burdette Ewers and heirs outside Pleasant Hill. Such an honor for those to keep and maintain the heritage of the family farm for so many years.
Please join us for the last Heartland tractor pull of the year Friday night under the lights at the Pike County Fairgrounds at 6 p.m. Restrooms and food vendors will be on site and admission to the fairgrounds is free to all.

Sign up starts at 8 a.m. Bags fly at 9 a.m., $20/person. $30 if staying for demo derby after. Look on Facebook event for more information. The Demolition Derby will start at 4 p.m.
