I hope everyone is enjoying this weather as much as I am. I am very ready for spring, but I’m not a winter person. However, that being said, I have to start my column by reminding everyone we are under a “Burn Ban!” Please do not burn.

February quickly passed, ushering in March with notable shifts in weather, ranging from chilly lows to unseasonably warm highs. This week predictions are for temperatures from 45 degrees today to Friday in the upper 70’s with rain every day.

“It’s a Great Week to be a Warrior” a packed gym with a whole lot of excited cheers and a lot of nail biting. But as the buzzer sounded at the end of the game of the Calhoun Warriors vs. Pawnee Indians saw the Calhoun Warriors Class 1A Regional Champions.

It’s nice and sunny and bright. We are now in the first week of March. So far, we are coming in like a lamb. The weather predictions sound like a few days of rain though. Let’s hope for the sunny weather.
